On sunday I've come back from trip to Zagreb, Croatia. It was my first visit in Croatia since I've started studing croatian filology and one of the best things about this trip was the fact that people living in Zagreb were able to understand me and I was able to understand them! My Croatian is good!

Zagrzeb reminded me of two cities – Cracow and Talin. Architecture in bigger part of city is similar to Cracow’s architecture, fact that Zagreb has the Gornji Grad and Dolnji Grad (I have no idea how are they called in english... ==' ), as well as old architecture reminds me of Talin.

We visited places which ‘every student of Croatian filology should visit’ (my lectors words). It was quite interesting, but would be better if vistts were not in the morning – most of us slept through prelections. We also tried to experience night life in Zagreb but almost all clubs were closed around midnight...

But trip was great (and eventfull), I've met nice people, with whom I hope to keep in touch and took many photos.
